On The Mend

What a relief!  My little one is getting better finally!  I’ve probably been overreacting here, but there is something very scary about a normally noisy, active, full-of-life little boy, lying still, quiet, pale, and burning with fever for days in a row.

“I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever.”  Ps. 89:1

Starting to play with legos again.

Hooray!  His first “meal” since Tuesday.  1/2 cup of chicken soup and 1/2 a waffle.  :)

Was it a flu of some sort? Some down here have had a high fever (104) but I don’t think it lasted too long. Glad he’s on the mend, sickness with fevers is always scary.

I didn’t know he was sick – poor guy, he looks awful!!! I noticed he wasn’t looking the best on Sunday, I wonder if he was already feeling low then? Fevers are scary so I can totally understand you being worried. Hope he keeps getting better. I’m sending lots of hugs and kisses his way!!! :)

I’m so glad he’s feeling better. Do you think it was just a virus? Kayleen always gets fever virus’ and won’t eat for a few days. Cute pictures of Uncle Paul checking him out also. He’s got such a tender heart for children.

  • I’m so glad he is feeling better! Love the scrubs!
