Bedtime Tea
I hesitate to title this “tea party” lest David be super embarrassed about it a few years from now. It’s simply “bedtime tea” and has become quite a tradition during the last few nights.Â
The kids choose a tea flavor to share and I make “Cinnamon Sugar Crispies” (otherwise known as cinnamon toast-cut into triangles…tonight I made it with pita bread, since I had some handy).

Today’s flavor was “Lemon Ginger” which they surprisingly liked…it tasted kinda’ like Chai tea once cream and sugar were added.

“Hey, this is pretty good!”

Is David feeling better!?
I used to drink tea with milk and sugar before bed, but only when sleeping over at grandma’s house. You are such a cool mom!
I agree – very cool mom! Looks like fun! Give David lots of cream and sugar to fatten him up!
awww they are so cute! what a fun idea!
What fun! Our kids love tea at night. I’m such an American though, hehe, we don’t do cream in our tea. Maybe I should try it? Oh, okay maybe not too much fat. LOL Very fun!
David looks like he’s feeling much better! Has some color and personality back to his photos!
Looks like fun! And what a great bedtime snack, I’ve heard that warm milk makes you sleepy.
Yaaay, David looks more like his old self again, only skinnier… they sure are cute.
What fun! We didn’t get tea at bedtime, but if we stayed with Grandpa and Grandma R, they would let us have vinegar and honey “tea” with them before bed . . . not quite the same! =)
I love those cubby baby hands!
Yay, it’s a good thing that tea set came with four little cups!
Love,
Aunt RY
You know… McDonalds doesn’t have a 3-piece nuggets.
They do have a 4-piece though… and interestingly enough, it’s called a “happy” meal.
They also have a 6-piece and a 10-piece. kindof scary when you think about it.
