Memorial Day here was spent relaxing, resting, and for me, catching up on laundry, and housework. It may sound boring, but it was a really nice, lazy day, where the house was cleaner at the end(which is always a huge plus!) While I was busy sorting through mounds of laundry in the master bedroom, Darius was busy enjoying the holiday too, in his own way.
This is what I happened upon at one point:

He got my pastry cutter out of my baking drawer and the flour tub out of the pantry. How did he know those things go together anyways? Of course I had to take some pictures before rebuking him.

Drinking Daddy’s cold “poffee”. He actually guzzled it. It was absolutely hilarious and kinda’ shocking and scary.
(Disclaimer: we don’t actually encourage this kind of behaviour aside from giving him small sips of our coffee
)

“Uh, Oh!” ” Methss!”
Well, I’m way behind again…here’s some photos from last weekend when temperatures went from the 60s to 85-90 overnight. We had a great time doing summery things!

Sprinkler under the trampoline.

They’ve been waiting months for this!

Nothing says summer like kids eating popsicles. I’m not sure why they’re sitting there so angelically…not really normal.

Awwww! Darius is even sharing!

What a ham!

Wading at Birch Bay…the water was incredibly warm.

“Ball!” This is actually a buoy.

He soon became frustrated because it was chained down.

Playing in the sand.

Cute, chubby, baby feet.
Well, yesterday we found out that we will be getting a new father and grandfather in the family! Grandma Rule and John Sester became engaged! We are really excited for them! Here are some pictures of the happy couple:

Congratulations Grandma Rule and Mr. Sester!

Aren't those two sitting a little close?
