New Year, New Look!
Yesterday Luke turned 2 and this morning we traded in his bowl cut for a shorter do. What do you think?

On Tuesday we squeezed in (last week before school!) a trip to the Seattle Science Center with Aunt Leesee and little Brianna. We’d been trying to plan this trip for months and one thing after another kept coming up. I’m glad it worked out this time. Here are some highlights from the day:
Little Brianna smiling(okay, half-smiling) at Aunt Tracy.
Little Sweetie in the stroller.
David pumping hard in the “Need for Speed” exhibit.
This photo just cracks me up! He climbed onto the seat behind David and decided it was a good place to rest for a few minutes…he’s just not pulling his weight!
He’s about to climb into the water here to reach a toy.
Esther enjoying the new swing Uncle Dallas made pre-Science World.
Luke’s Birthday

An insect? A racecar? This is kinda’ like looking at the clouds and using your imagination to come up with valid formations.
My only excuse was that I was baking and constructing it at 11pm after working a long day at Peter’s clinic and after 2 hours of driving time taking the kids to Canada and back. It could have looked like a turtle for all I cared at that point. And….thankfully, Luke is very uncritical.
The birthday boy eating chips and cheeze whiz while waiting for the other guests to arrive at the beach. He has very refined tastes, just like his Mom and Dad.
Opening presents…his favorites turned out to be a little “baby” from Grandpa and Grandma C. and a large airplane from Granny C. Oh, and his own(!!) crocs with little turtles on them. He didn’t want me to take them off to change his diaper.
Wading in Birch Bay…the day turned out to be pretty warm. Poor David doesn’t have enough fat on him — he looks kinda’ cold.
Here he is after his bath with his crocs on and a soccer ball – his gift from Uncle Andrew.
