I thought it would be neat to compare baby pictures of all our kids, but have had a frustrating time finding pictures that show their faces in comparable poses. Here’s the best I could come up with:

Josiah, 3 weeks(this is the earliest I have for him…our others are non-digital!)

Chloe, the day she was born.

Darius, 4 days old.

Shiloh, 3 days old.

Here’s all the boys(Josiah, Darius, Shiloh) side by side with the same outfit(one of my favorites!) Josiah is about 5 weeks here, though.
First of all, thank you Grandpa and Grandma Sester and Aunt Jill for helping with the children and the homefront while we were in the hospital! Also, thank you to Grandma Csanyi for helping us at home all week!
We are having such a great time with little Shiloh. He is such a contented baby and the easiest one we’ve had since Josiah. I can’t get enough of holding him and cuddling with him. Our other children too are madly in love with him. And for the first time(I think) there seem to be no insecurities or clinginess with them. In the past there was always a bit of an adjustment period for the older kids, but Shiloh seems to blend in very seamlessly. :) We’re just so thankful. The Lord has done far more than we could ask or think both in the delivery and in this postpartum time! What a mercy!
I’m kinda’ odd in that I don’t have postpartum depression. I always get “pregnancy depression” and that goes away almost immediately after the baby is born. I wish these first days could just be frozen and kept for a bit longer. It is such a fun time!

Chloe is a great helper and big sister. She holds Shiloh for long stretches of time until he starts acting hungry and rooting around — then she looks kinda’ worried for her own safety and gives him back to me. :) Darius was holding him once and that happened. He said “Eat me!” and passed him off really quickly. LOL He’s definitely one hungry baby and is growing fast. We weighed him at Peter’s clinic on Tuesday and he had already passed up his birth weight and was 8lbs.

Josiah prays for him every night that there wouldn’t be anything wrong with him that the doctors didn’t find. He’s very tender and gentle with him, and I think is a bit overawed by his fragility.

Thanks again for everyone’s help. I know we wouldn’t be enjoying this time nearly so much without it!
Our little one has arrived and we are so happy to finally meet him! He was born at 12:26 this morning (on his due date!) after a surprisingly slow but uneventful labor and delivery. He weighed 7lbs, 8 oz, and is 21 inches long.
He’s doing great, eating like a champ and is very contented and laid back. Not quite sure who he looks like…kinda’ a cross between Josiah and Darius maybe.
