New Dog(?) and a Haircut

Well, we may or may not have a new dog…depending on how the next few days/weeks go.  :)   As far as the kids know, she’s just staying with us for a few days.  The main issue is her pottying….I think she’s house trained, but we’re not in tune with her signals, so it’s been a bit unpleasant.  If we can master this issue fairly easily, then we’ll probably keep her.  She’s an older female dog (around 10 yrs) whose owner had to move to a rest home.  She’s very sweet and very(too?) attentive, in true lab style.  I alternate between thinking she’s sweet and finding her annoying.  Talk about needy!  LOL  The kids are having fun though, because she plays fetch, is great on a leash….oh, and she likes to howl when Enoch is crying.  Yes, our house is just an oasis of calm and rest!

Here they are playing fetch for a few minutes before school:

And, totally unrelated….but Luke had a haircut today….can you tell?  :)

The only way to succeed at this is to plant him in front of “The Berenstein Bears” and threaten to turn it off whenever his fussing escalates.  Even so, I have to work VERY fast.  LOL  Hmmm…maybe not the best discipline.

Oh, and doesn’t he still have such a cute little baby shape?

  • Luke looks a lot more like David with that hair cut! I love that you took the photo of him with just his diaper, what a cute little belly!

Okay, okay, so nobody has “TV” anymore, but they still watch “shows”. Funny, all my favorite shows I can watch online.

How’s the dog working out? You do have quite the zoo going on. Lots of life!

Cute little belly Luke has! I thought of both Peter and David when I saw that picture of him. And..it’s not a haircut unless it involves clippers! LOL
