We headed down south Saturday afternoon for a dinner/sing at Grandma R’s house. It was mostly family there, but also, Ed, Renee, Michelle(and Angelique), David S, and Renita were there. Grandma R. made a vegetarian smorgasbord that was really delicious. We spent the night and then went on to Tacoma All-Day-Meeting in the morning. We had a great time! The kids made new friends and re-established old ones. I love to see them make new friends…I guess because I remember my own struggles as a kid and young person going to all-day meetings and having so much trouble overcoming my shyness. I hope it’ll be easier for them. Maybe early exposure is the key. ![]()

Peaceful car ride down. There’s something so beautiful about a car-full of sleeping kids. Peter and I were able to have some uninterrupted conversation!

Enjoying the playground at Tacoma ADM. It was sunny but very cold — of course that didn’t stop the kids!
