Well, I’m typing this on Grandma R’s computer in Auburn. We’ve been down here since yesterday evening and it looks like we’ll be here for awhile yet. Thankfully, I remembered to bring a passel of Josiah’s schoolbooks.
When we first arrived yesterday evening this is what was waiting for the kids:

3 Chests — one full of pirate stuff, one full of princess stuff, and one full of balls! They immediately dug in and this is the result:

Josiah as a cute little…I mean, SCARY pirate.

Chloe as a sweet princess.

And Darius as himself

Of course if one ball is a good thing, then 4 is better….might as well just climb right in!
We’ve also been spending some time at “the old house” which has bad air or something. As soon as we arrive they start shrieking and running in circles and making a huge racket. It must be something to do with all the clean, wide-open space.
I’m sure it’s been making great impressions on our prospective tenants!

One example of such behaviour….I used the action shot on the camera for this one.

During a brief, saner moment.
