This totally cracked me up.  It’s a quote from the weekly pregnancy e-mail update I get.

Pregnancy survival skill: How to get out of a soft chair

Put your feet flat on the floor and bend from the hips. Push on the armrests with your hands! Use your stomach muscles. If upward motion is still elusive, pick up your magazine and yell for more mint-chip ice cream. (Standing up is totally overrated anyway.)

Yesterday while eating candy(special pumpkin shaped ones that she’s been waiting for all summer!) Chloe said to me,

“Mommy, I wish you would have one so baby Shiloh could taste it.  I bet he would like to have some!”

:)  So Sweet!

Mommy:  I’m not going to be able to go to meeting tonight, because I’m still pretty sick.

Josiah:  Oh, because you have a cold, and you don’t want to get other people sick?

Mommy: yep.

Josiah:  yeah, because if you were just sick from the baby, then you wouldn’t make the men sick, because they can’t have babies…you could only make the ladies sick! laughs

Mommy:  well….it doesn’t quite work that way…babies aren’t contagious….
