I hesitate to title this “tea party” lest Josiah be super embarrassed about it a few years from now. It’s simply “bedtime tea” and has become quite a tradition during the last few nights. :) The kids choose a tea flavor to share and I make “Cinnamon Sugar Crispies” (otherwise known as cinnamon toast-cut into triangles…tonight I made it with pita bread, since I had some handy).

Today’s flavor was “Lemon Ginger” which they surprisingly liked…it tasted kinda’ like Chai tea once cream and sugar were added.

“Hey, this is pretty good!”
We pulled out one of Chloe’s birthday presents this morning…a paint-your-own tea set. It is super cute and I had a little bit of a hard time letting them paint whatever they wanted on it. I’m glad I gave them free rein though - they were very pleased with the results…that’s all that matters, right?

Every one of Josiah’s creations had red on them very prominently with splashes of other colors.

Finishing the teapot, which actually turned out kinda’ neat, I thought.
